Climbing Adventures Await

Our fun and friendly community of adult and child climbers welcomes you to come and try out the "wall." Whether you're a novice or an experienced climber, our wall offers a thrilling experience for all levels of adventurers.

Children Climb

$13.00 per child
Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:00pm to 6:00pm

The cost of the class includes a harness rental and climbing shoes. Bay Club employees will be available to belay your child.


Adult Climb

$13.00 per person
Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00pm to 8:00pm

The cost of the class includes a harness rental and climbing shoes. Staffed by Bay Club Climbing Director and fellow employees.

Climb Membership

$45 a month for existing members

Coming Fall 2023, Bay Club members can request a climbing membership as part of our member-only add-on categories. The climb membership will allow climbing during specific club hours. You must be 18 or older for this membership. Additionally, Bay Club climbing staff must conduct a rigorous examination and safety check, and additional agreements must be signed. 

Safety First

  • Climb members must follow strict ‘open’ climb guidelines, or climb membership will be withdrawn. 

  • Climb members can only belay another Bay Club climb member or their child (additional insurance forms are required).

  • A climb member must still pay to participate in an Adult Climb class.

Dedicated to Saftey

Built and engineered by ‘Comp Wall’ in 2000 out of San Francisco, our wall is professionally designed and engineered. Our rock wall is rigorously maintained with weekly inspections, regular cleanings, route changes, and other regular inspections of harnesses and ropes. We have a passionate team that is dedicated to providing the best, safest, and community-centered experience possible.

The benefits of climbing are numerous, yet it is often overlooked as an outstanding exercise form. Here are a few of the  benefits of climbing

  1. It’s a total body workout: increasing strength, balance, flexibility and endurance.

  2. It has mind/body benefits as well: it increases problem-solving, reduces stress levels, and requires focus such that it has a ‘meditative’ effect on most people, and thus increases the ability to stay calm and centered in other parts of our lives.

  3. It can increase communication strengths and is a ‘social’ sport.
