Why Personal Training
Personal training is an excellent way to 'jump-start' a movement and wellness program with support. Particularly if you are new to fitness and want to learn more about the process of beginning a safe exercise program, personal training can speed you on your way to a healthier you and is a worthy investment in yourself.
The cost is $65.00 per hour for members or $75 per hour for non-members. Minimum purchase is 4 hours.
Our Personal Training process is designed to be flexible and personalized, adapting to your unique needs and goals. Together, we'll create a comprehensive plan and fitness program that's perfect for you, ensuring you get the most out of your training sessions at the Bay Club.
Your first session will run up to 2 hours with the trainer as you develop your goals and objectives for success. This involves setting up your program and future times together to adjust and update your future workouts. No person's body is exactly the same, so careful assessments and baseline testing are used to develop programs that move you from where you want to be.
The second session is to review your program's suggested movements slowly and carefully so you can exercise on your own with proper technique and form.
Generally, our trainers meet with clients once every week to 2 weeks, with reassessments taking place approximately every 4 to 6 weeks.

There is a lot of information on personal training, which is unsafe, unfounded, and not sustainable in the long term. Our trainers help you establish realistic goals with specific movement patterns that train the whole body and basic nutritional coaching for better health. They can also suggest fitness classes that can help support your movement goals.
Our trainers are certified by NASM(National Academy of Sports Medicine) and work to develop safe and scientifically proven programs for you to follow. And, because our bodies adapt so quickly and can plateau, our trainers update your fitness program so you can continue seeing progress.

Teen Group Personal Training
Join Josh, a retired Special Operations Diver passionate about fitness and helping those around him. Among many duties, he was a fitness coordinator and obstacle course instructor for the Navy. After retiring, he became a yoga instructor and a NASM-certified personal trainer. Josh has a forward-thinking, safety-focused mindset that he combines with high-intensity group workouts to achieve impressive results.
