What a great way to finish off a stressful work day! Jump in the Pool and work off those work-day blues in an hour long class. This is a great workout for those of you that want to increase your cardio-vascular health, metabolic rate and mood in an aquatic setting.
This class is a multi-generational class for the young and the young-at-heart. This hour long class consists of both aerobic and strength training for the total body. Expect to get your heart rate up, work your muscles in a new way and feel great when you are finished! We complete the hour with a cool down and lots of stretching.
Known as the Zumba "pool party," Aqua Zumba gives new meaning to the idea of an invigorating workout. Splashing, stretching, twisting, even shouting, laughing, hooting and hollering are often heard during an Aqua Zumba class. Integrating the Zumba formula and philosophy with traditional aqua fitness disciplines, Aqua Zumba blends it all together into a safe, challenging, water-based workout that’s cardio-conditioning, body-toning, and most of all, exhilarating beyond belief.
General Pool Usage:
Adult Swim
This time is reserved just for adults to enjoy a tranquil environment without the commotion and extra activity of children. Lap swimming may occur.
Family Swim
A time reserved for families of all ages. Children can splash and get excited without offending adults/seniors.
Lap Swim
This time is reserved for lap swimmers only. Lanes are to be used with swimmers in single file, traveling down one side of the black line and returning on the opposite.
Open Swim
This time is undesignated for any particular group. Families, children and adults use the pool simultaneously, respecting each other and the pool rules.
Parent/Tot Swim
This is an unstructured “play group in the pool”. A time designated for parents and small children to acclimate to the aquatic environment with other in their age group. We recommend ages 5 and under.
